Chancery 2 (“C6”) Lists: matters which were adjourned generally from 23rd and 30th March; from 13th, 20th and 27th April; from 11th, 18th and 25th May; and from 15th, 22nd and 29th June 2020
All Motions etc. returnable to the Chancery 2 List for each of the above dates which had previously been adjourned generally with liberty to re-enter will now, in as far as possible, be re-listed over the following Mondays: 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th July 2020. Practitioners are requested to identify, by email to the undersigned:
(a) any such matters which can now be adjourned by consent to the new Legal Year; or
(b) any matters [excluding applications for the restoration of a Company to the Register of Companies] in respect of which Orders can be made on consent (and in respect of Orders by consent, the email should have attached to it the consent of all parties to the litigation and thereupon an Order, dated as of the date of the said email, will be perfected by the Registrar and the said email and consents will be placed on the Court file); or
(c) any matters in respect of which pleadings are now closed and which will require a hearing date (i.e. matters which are likely to take more than 15 minutes to hear)

Practitioners are asked to note the following:
(i) individual matters in the Chancery 2 Lists on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th July will be staggered at intervals of 10 / 15 minutes
(ii) due to Court Room capacity restrictions occasioned by Covid-19, applications for adjournments by consent or for Orders by consent cannot be made to the Registrar in Court on the above dates
(iii) all Motions seeking the restoration of a Company to the Register (section 738, Companies Act, 2014) which were listed for either 23rd or 30th March will be the first matters which will be re-instated for Monday 6th July; the precise date in July for which other matters will be re-listed will be allocated by Wednesday 8th July and will then be available on the High Court Tracking System, therefore practitioners should check the High Court Search online after that date
(iv) the Court has directed that a bound booklet of papers is to be lodged by 1.00p.m. on the Thursday preceding the Monday for which the Motion / matter is listed. Lodgement of such booklets may be conducted via Post or DX or via hand delivery in an envelope clearly marked “Chancery 2 List” and placed in a box which will be situated in a room adjoining the Principal Registrar's Office on the First Floor of the Four Courts Building (overhead the Central Office) and practitioners can only hand deliver the papers for Court between the hours of 9.30a.m. and 1.00p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (i.e this service will NOT be available on Mondays or Fridays)
