BEFORE THE COUNTY REGISTRAR FOR DUBLIN
FAMILY LAW MOTIONS/EX PARTE APPLICATIONS ONLY
Further to the previous statement of the President of the Circuit Court and the Notice published by the Dublin County Registrar on 30 April 2021 and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A-Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020, motions list will be staggered/ heard in time slots. The hearing times for all Motions and Ex Parte applications will be published in the Legal Diary.
Arrangements are in place to ensure compliance with HSE distancing requirements and your cooperation is appreciated and expected. The hearing will take place in accordance with public health and the Courts Service guidelines. You should only attend Court at your scheduled time.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
1. An indexed and paginated hard copy booklet of pleadings and proceedings and relevant copy documents to be relied upon at the hearing must be lodged in the Circuit Court Family Law Office NOT LATER THAN 5 working days prior to the hearing date. All documents so lodged must clearly show the record number and name of the case, the hearing date and time so they can be associated with the relevant court file. Documents will not be accepted in court or by email.
2. Attend court at the appointed/designated time only as there are no waiting facilities.
3. There will not be a second calling of motions.
4. The minimum number of necessary legal representatives for each party to attend. court. The attendee must be able to deal with the matter.
5. The parties must leave court and take all belongings after the expiry of the allotted time.
6. Motions will not be transferred to the Judge for hearing on the same day.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THE FOLLOWING TEMPORARY ARRAGEMENTS
All Motions which have been lodged will be assigned hearing dates in due course and in the order in which they were lodged in the Circuit Court Office.

1. In the event that a motion/ex-parte application has been lodged for issue and a hearing date and is no longer required, please immediately contact the Dublin Circuit Family Law Office by letter only by post and NOT by email confirming that the application for a hearing date is withdrawn, at which time the documents will be returned unissued.
2. In the event that a hearing date has issued and the motion/ex parte application is spent/moot in its entirety, the Solicitor for the moving party must notify the Dublin Circuit Family Law Office by letter only by post NOT by email not later than 28 days prior to the hearing date for the application confirming that the Applicant is withdrawing the motion/ex-parte application. At which time the matter will be removed from the Court list. The Solicitor for the moving party must notify the other party to the Application of the withdrawal of the application for hearing.
3. Letters received after the 28-day period prior to the hearing of the application as set out at no 2 above, will not be dealt with or acted upon and will not be replied to. Those motions/ex-parte applications will remain in the Court list for hearing
PLEASE NOTE

The letter from the moving party referred to above should ONLY state the following
a) The correct year and record number of the proceedings
b) The names of the parties to the proceedings
c) The date the application sought to be withdrawn was lodged in the Dublin Circuit Family Law Office
d) The date assigned for hearing of the application.
